Tuton was founded in 2024 by Derek Cowan, a software developer and serial business operator based in Ho Chi Minh City. Before Tuton he built companies with staff, payroll, and paying customers, then taught more than 7,500 online English lessons running his own independent tutoring business. Tuton is the platform he wished existed while doing it.
