Free tools for independent tutors
The paperwork side of tutoring — policies, invoices, pricing, time zones — handled by four small tools that run entirely in your browser. Use them forever, account or not.
Cancellation Policy Generator
Answer six questions — notice window, late fees, no-show rules — and copy a clear, fair policy ready for your booking page.
Invoice Generator
Build a professional tutoring invoice — dated lessons, rates, optional tax — then print or save as PDF. Nothing leaves your browser.
Rate Calculator
Start from the income you need and get the hourly rate that funds it — unpaid prep time and marketplace-commission math included.
Time Zone Overlap Finder
Pick your city and your students' cities — see exactly which lesson hours work for everyone, before you offer a slot at someone's 3am.

Frequently asked questions
Are these tutor tools really free?⌄
Yes — every tool on this page is completely free, with no account, no signup and no usage limits. They're built by Tuton, the platform for independent language tutors, and they stay free whether or not you ever become a customer.
Where does the data I type into the tools go?⌄
Nowhere. All four tools run entirely in your browser — nothing you type is uploaded to our servers. The invoice generator keeps a draft in your own browser's local storage so you can come back to it, and PDFs are produced by your browser's print dialog, not by us.
Why does a paid platform give away free tools?⌄
Because they're useful to every independent tutor, not just our customers — and that's the honest pitch. The tools solve the paperwork around teaching; Tuton the platform solves the teaching itself (a browser classroom, scheduling, invoicing that writes itself from your lessons). If a free tool saves you an evening, some of you will want the rest.
Do you have tools for the lessons themselves?⌄
Yes — nine free games for online English lessons live at tuton.io/games: speaking warm-ups, vocabulary games, tongue twisters and more, all browser-based with no signup, ready to screen-share in any lesson.
The tools handle the paperwork. Tuton handles the teaching.
One classroom, your whole teaching business: live lessons in the browser, self-serve scheduling, invoices that build themselves from completed lessons — with 0% commission, ever.
