Lessons
- Agile BasicsGoal: explain how Agile works to a newcomer in one minute — sprints, backlog, user stories — using the words real teams use every day.1 hr 7 minFree
- Sprint CeremoniesGoal: know exactly what to say in each of the four Agile ceremonies — standup, planning, review, retrospective — and say it briefly.1 hr 7 minOutline
- User Stories & RequirementsGoal: turn a vague feature request into a proper user story — persona, action, benefit — with acceptance criteria the team can test.1 hr 6 minOutline
- Discussing Tasks and DeadlinesGoal: give honest progress updates — on track, behind, or overloaded — early enough that nobody is ever surprised by a deadline.1 hr 7 minOutline
- Estimating & PlanningGoal: answer "How long will this take?" like a professional — compare, break down, add a buffer, and give an estimate you can stand behind.1 hr 7 minOutline
- Retrospectives & ImprovementGoal: contribute to a retrospective with Start–Stop–Continue — specific, blame-free, and ending in an action item someone can actually do.1 hr 6 minOutline
- Stakeholder CommunicationGoal: deliver a one-minute stakeholder update — done, in progress, risks — and stay transparent when part of the news is bad.1 hr 7 minOutline
- Risk Management & BlockersGoal: raise a blocker and flag a risk so clearly — what, impact, what you've tried, what you need — that the team can act in the same meeting.1 hr 7 minOutline
How to use it in a lesson
- Lessons run 66 to 67 minutes, with a timing on every stage, so you can see before you start what fits your slot.
- Start with "Agile Basics": its whole plan is on this site, stage by stage, with the target vocabulary, free to read and to teach from on any video call.
- For a shorter slot, skip a practice stage or cut the discussion short: the stages are a guide, not a script.
