Missing: One Very Fat Cat Biscuit is the laziest cat on Rose Street. She usually sleeps on the garden wall at ten o'clock every morning. But today she isn't there. Mrs Okonkwo makes a poster. It says: LOST CAT. VERY FAT. GINGER. HER NAME IS BISCUIT. Dani takes the posters and walks down the street. "What is Mr Patel doing?" she asks. He is looking under his car with a torch. "I'm helping," he says. "I always help." Old Sofia is watering her tomatoes. She never sees anything, but today she sees something. "A fat ginger cat is sitting in the bakery window," she says. "Right now." Dani runs to the bakery. Biscuit is sitting between two loaves of bread. She is eating a sausage roll. She isn't lost. She is just hungry. Every day: She sleeps on the wall. Right now: She is eating a sausage roll.
