Tottenham midfielder James Maddison made his return to the starting team after a long injury break. He scored from outside the box in a 3-1 win over Coventry, making his first start in 18 months. It was Tottenham's first league victory of the season, although recent results have left the team under pressure. Maddison looked lively, and his return could give his teammates more confidence.
