In the News lesson plans
In the News lessons are short conversation lessons, each built on a news story told in plain English, then questions that open it up into a discussion. A recent story from each topic is on this site in full, except Health: health stories stay in the interactive player, because a public lesson plan is no place for medical advice. They make a good warm-up or a lighter lesson, and every story opens in the player with a free Tuton account.
The first lesson of each course is a full plan you can read here with no signup (for In the News, a recent story). The other lessons show an outline.
