Conversation Starters lesson plans
Conversation starter lessons give a student something worth talking about and the language to say it: daily routines, likes and dislikes for newer speakers, social media at B1, remote work at B2 and debates on AI and jobs at C1. Each plan sets up the topic, pre-teaches the phrases a student will reach for, then hands most of the lesson over to speaking. Use them when a student says they just want to talk.
